Thanks for stopping by! Welcome to my February 2014 monthly site update. January’s sales dropped off quite a bit, but that’s not surprising given the holidays are over. One of my blog posts went viral (for like five minutes) this month, so that was exciting while it lasted. As always, thank you to everyone who bought artwork from my site. I am able to do this with your support, and as long as you keep supporting, I’ll keep creating.

Site and Store updates

I’ve almost finished updating the site to my new theme. (It’s very time consuming.) I’ve been working hard updating my blog posts to make them more readable/enjoyable, and updating the artwork pages to include product samples. I’ve worked out most of the kinks with my private server, so hopefully the site’s speed and reliability have improved. Please contact me if you have any issues.

On the storefront, I have some new prints for sale (including my Sesame Street designs) and my printer has starting offering wall clocks as an option. Please click on the images below to check out my new stuff! Even if you don’t purchase anything, please click “promote” on the pieces you like. This will help my visibility, traffic, and sales. Thanks! Also, from now until midnight on February 9th, you can get free shipping by clicking here.

Top seller for January 2014

McBain Pug

My top sellers for January came in at a tie. The first is my movie poster for a fictional McBain movie, and the second was my drawing of a fat pug. This one came from my sister site, DoodleMyDog.com. Head over to my other site (by clicking the link provided) to find out how you can get your paws on a portrait of your canine friend. Some options are free! Thanks to everyone who made a purchase. Top blog post for January 2014

Porcupine My top blog post (by far) for January was titled, Why I Reject Liberalism and Remain a Libertarian. (Click the link to read it.) This post is a rebuttal of an editorial published on Salon.com in which a former Ron Paul delegate explains (poorly) how he made the move from libertarian (classical liberal) to progressive (modern liberal). This blog post actually went viral for two days, giving me a couple hundred hits and a few art sales. Now things have quieted down again. The internet is a fickle mistress indeed. Feel free to leave comments and start or join a discussion. All I ask is that you remain respectful of other people. If you can’t talk to people you disagree with respectfully, it’s time to grow up.
