BinaryGod website June 2015 update

Hello June, and hello summer! (My favorite time of year.) June brings long days, summertime (if you’re in the northern hemisphere), and Father’s Day. You know what fathers like? Movies. You should get your dad a print from my online shop.

I'm Your Huckleberry (Tombstone) Over the Line (The Big Lebowski)

May 2015 was my best month, to date. By far. Thank you so much to everyone who placed an order or bought some of my merchandise. I’m overwhelmed! The ultimate goal is to turn my illustration business from a side project into my full time gig. More free time means more art! Thanks for helping me on my way to achieving my dream. It means so much to me, and I don’t thank you all enough. As always, if you like what you see, please consider making a purchase or sharing my work via social media! (or both, preferably!)

Living Room Pooches Sunny in the Waves

May was extremely busy, and I also moved apartments after four years. (Like, yesterday.) I found a place with cheaper rent so hopefully I can invest more money into the art business (I need funds for advertising and for making my own prints).

June Polling Contest

Game of Thrones I’m trying something new this month to increase visits and sales; I’m having a polling contest! I will pick one random winner to claim a digital prize. Details are here; the poll is about Game of Thrones, so if you’re a fan of the show, make sure you head over. You could win a prize!

New Artwork for Sale

My freelance illustration work (and my aforementioned move) kept me very busy last month, so I was only able to do one movie caricature. And it’s not even a movie caricature, it’s from a TV show. I promised my girlfriend that the next one would be from Breaking Bad. Mike Ehrmantraut (played by veteran actor Jonathan Banks) is easily my favorite character, and I’m happy for his return on Better Call Saul. He had a lot of badass scenes in the show, but in most of them he played it the “strong, silent type.” This scene was different, and it was his first big speech on the show to let the audience know exactly what type of character this was. Hope you like my take on it. The second new work I posted was for a client. My pet portraits website really picked up in May, and this is one of the latest drawings I completed. Click the link or the image below if you’d like me to draw your pet! Click on my Breaking Bad cartoon below to buy the new work on phone cases, women’s leggings, money pouches, wall tapestries, duvet covers, tee shirts, mugs, pillows, etc. I’ve got lots of options, so please shop around! Top sellers for May 2015

As previously mentioned, I had lots of Doodle My Dog orders last month, so I guess it shouldn’t be a surprise that my top seller was my Bulldog print. I mostly sold this on one tee shirts, although I also sold a couple of phone cases. In second place was my Saint Patrick print. It’s Patrick Star from Spongebob Squarepants on a stained glass window. My customers liked this one printed on metal canvas, mostly. Click the images below to see your purchase options. My art is available as a print, a tapestry, or printed on tee shirts, mugs, pillows, rugs, iPhone cases, and much, much more. Every social media like and share is appreciated, too!

Top blog post for May 2015

Mastodon Clutch I went to three concerts in late April/early May, and I wrote reviews of all of them. My top blog post for May 2015 was my review of one of those shows: Mastodon & Clutch. I also saw Faith No More and Coheed and Cambria, so make sure you also check out those reviews if you’re into bizarre or nerdy rock music. Spoiler: My favorite live show was Faith No More. Obviously. As a bonus, here’s Faith No More performing in 1997 at a concert that I really, REALLY wish I could have attended.

Got a suggestion?

Please drop me a line if you’d like to get in touch with me for any reason. I’m always taking illustration orders, so let’s chat!
