BinaryGod website March 2015 update

Are you sick of winter yet? Well, Spring is just around the corner. Welcome to the March 2015 installment of the BinaryGod site and store updates. I’ve got just a few updates for you, so I’m just going to jump right in.

New Artwork for Sale

I’ve got a couple of new movie-based caricatures for you this month, plus some more Doodle My Dog artwork. My first caricature is from an obscure 80s horror movie called Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2. You probably haven’t seen the movie unless you’re a horror junkie, but you’ve probably seen the meme. If not, here it is. Enjoy the giddy insanity. Since the first movie is a bit obscure, I decided to go the opposite route with my next caricature. You know this movie, it’s called Return of the Jedi. It’s the second sequel to a slightly popular movie called Star Wars. Here, Luke defies the Emperor, although his statement is not entirely accurate. Click the images below to buy them on phone cases, iPad covers, duvet covers, tee shirts, mugs, pillows, etc. If you’re a regular visitor to this site, you know the drill by now.

Garbage Day! (Silent Night, Deadly Night 2) Like Father, Like Son (Return of the Jedi)

I’ve got some more doggie art for sale, too. (Thanks to everyone who’s placed an order! I was very busy for Valentine’s Day.) Click here for information on how you can get your own custom doggie drawing. My RedBubble store is now offering women’s leggings. Or men’s too, I guess. See below for an example. Shop here!

Top sellers for February 2015

Sales for Valentine’s Day and beyond were fairly strong! (It certainly helps that my stores ran constant sale promotions all month. Thanks to all who made a purchase.) If you haven’t read it yet, check out a review of my work from; it’s here. (Thanks Dave!) Also in January, Indieminded included me in their “Top 40 Jurassic Park tees” post, which was a big boost. My top sellers for February 2015 are my Star Wars droids on metal canvas and my geometric pattern ripped off from Kubrick’s The Shining. Please click the images below to get one of your own. As always, even if you don’t buy, I appreciate every share, like, and comment. If you don’t like my stuff, maybe you know a pop culture junkie who might!

Top blog post for February 2015

My top blog this month was my random thoughts about the Back to the Future trilogy. Second place was my mini-review of the new Matthew Vaughn/Mark Millar movie Kingsman: The Secret Service. (I’ve since read the comic and the movie is better. WAY better.) Back to the Future Since January’s top post was about Django Unchained, I guess my readers are telling me they want more movie stuff. It makes sense, since I’m drawing movie caricatures. Well, I read you loud and clear. What movie would you like to discuss? Leave me a comment or suggestion below.

Celebrity caricatures, Dog portraits, and advertising.

(This section is a word-for-word repeat from last month, but I’m pushing it to drive up my sales. Thanks for bearing with me.) My first $5 gig has become a moderate success, and it keeps growing! I’ve integrated my Doodle My Dog site with Fiverr, where people offer specialty services for $5. You can choose your add-ons (like color or a background) directly on the site. Fiverr also acts as an escrow so you don’t have to fret about payment. The gig is here. I also hired a broadcaster to create a commercial for me. Listen to it, below. Brian did an amazing job. Hire him for your commercial needs!

(Voice and writing credit: Brian Craig.) I am offering three new gigs online as well: I’m offering celebrity caricatures for $5: Check it out here. I’ll draw actors, musicians, sports stars, and even (ugh) politicians. I have two advertising gigs. Wanna advertise on this site? I’m getting 15,000 unique visitors a month, plus I’m promoting myself on about a jillion other sites. (That’s a real number.) Click here for details. If you have a pet-oriented service, you can buy ad space on my Doodle My Dog page. Go here for details. For both gigs, I can create a simple image for your business. My profile is here. Check me out, let’s do some business!

Got a suggestion?

Please drop me a line if you’d like to get in touch with me for any reason. I’m taking illustration orders, so let’s chat! Happy March, happy Spring. -Steve
